128 Crouch Hill
The clients’ previous kitchen was narrow, long and dark and was located alongside a separate, rarely-used dining room. The designer recommended removing the dividing wall which immediately would make a larger room and create a family-friendly living space. The clients opted for the 1909 in-frame Shaker range, its elegant proportions perfectly suiting the Edwardian architecture of the property. The light partridge grey finish was chosen to further accentuate the light and airy feel of the room, with smooth Corian Glacier White worktops and white-painted glass splashbacks further enhancing the fresh ambience. The island is very much the focal point of the design, both from a functional and social perspective. Tall 950mm wall cabinets provide generous storage, and coupled with a useful run of drawers there is a place for everything to ensure the space remains uncluttered, calm and inviting.
